Calder, James
Production Assistant/Actor
Born in London, he has lived in DC for 16 years and is happily married to Leigh Bailey.
He made his film debut in K3WL's under-rated entry into the 48-Hour Film Project of 2002,
"Quarter Round." When he's not building a huge underground following for his films, he
takes pretty cool photographs and thinks he knows a lot about the planet's predominant
PC operating system.

Dave Dreas
Creativity Contributor
I am a Native Washintonian and a self-employed contractor who moonlighted as
a movie projectionist for Circle/Showcase Theatres for 15 years. In
addition, I taught and coached a children's circus performance troupe (Jim
Moyer's Oakwood Circus Club in Fairfax, VA) for four years. I've studied
and worked in street theatre (AKA busking/guerilla theatre) and stage for
more than a decade. I'm a conspicious figure at juggling and circus-related
conventions and events all over the world, e.g., the United States Congress
of Jugglers, the European Juggling & Circus Convention,
the International Juggling Association, and Motionfest. I'm also a founding
member of WAR (Washington Area Roadskaters) and co-founder of the
lunatic-fringe party/skate/sport group
P.E.A.C.E. (People Enjoying Anarchistic Cardiovascular Excitation).

Creativity Contributor
Liza is a friend of Andy Young's, the Editor. Liza met Marianna, the
Producer while she and Andy were conducting on-site research in Dupont
Circle for "Sledding in Modern America" last Jan/Feb. After numerous
dinner parties and several cases of wine/Guinness later, Liza developed a
keen interest in participating in anyway possible in the 48 Hour Film
Project. Andy and Marianna did an awesome job and Liza can't wait until next year's project!

Stewart Dean Ebersole III
Artist, Triptyich: Red and Green
Stewart Ebersole is a high school science teacher in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
When he is not overwhelmed with his teaching job, he enjoys painting, fixing things,
man-handling his two cats, and spending time arguing with the locals in two nearby
coffee shops. Stewart is responsible for the formation and implementation of the
Renegade Art Coalition (RAC), a single-minded attempt to change the face of art
in a small town that is dominated by landscape and still-life painters. Word has it
that he is losing, but is content.

Michael Hyde
Documentary Sound Technician
Michael Hyde is a lawyer and aspiring slacker who lives and works in the DC area.
He moved here from California in 1993 and one day in 2002 just decided to jump out an
airplane for no good reason (but while conveniently wearing a parachute). He's done
a little script writing and taken some writing and directing classes, but this project
is his first hands-on experience. Hopefully, if all goes well (and you can hear the
sound on the documentary), it won't be his last.

Marianna LaFollette
Producer
I have participated in the 48-Hour Film Project since its May 2001 Washington-DC inception.
In this first project, I was the sound tech for Kevin Barneyıs team, which did the Horror
short, "Soul Long." For the second 48-Hour Film Project,I gathered my first team and as
Producer and Co-Director, I successfully completed the Projectıs first sci-fi entry,
"Ember Lane." (A script for a full-length feature film is in the works). And, finally,
as a Producer and Team Leader, I lead my 3rd team to come up with "Quarter Round," a fantasy
short (www.anti-statik.com/quarteround).
In my other harried life, I am a highly-trained,
high-end freelance sound technician and cover network news(CNN, FoxNewschannel),
documentaries (HGTV, Food Network), and corporate
industrial pieces. I firmly believe in the mastery of the craft and strive to improve my
skills, while helping others to do the same. I can be quite silly, too. Anyone else waiting
for the new Battlestar Galactica movie to come out?
